Born in Paris but grew up in Brooklyn New York .
I grew up listening to the 70s Congolese music my dad played , and 80’s American pop music my mom played .
I started singing in my church choir at 5 , and would perform for every Special holiday show .
But when times got harder , I forgot how to sing .
Until I was 17 , and I ran away from home, and changed high schools and met musicians and artists in the city . They inspired me to be myself and sing .
I started getting booked to perform showcases before I had completed songs , and through intense inspiration, I’d often write them a few hours before the performances . Practicing on the subway ride there .
Performing locally across nyc here I am in your ears wherever you are .
