TEZA

TEZA is a singer/songwriter based in Berlin. She is openly gay, feminist artist and an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. Tired of not seeing her perspective represented enough in music she fearlessly talks about these topics in her lyrics. She is coming out with a collection of songs that she wrote about her love for women and everything that comes with it – from political to personal and from beauty to heartbreaks. Her songs are bold and cover the experience of coming out, being a gay woman, gender equality and female empowerment. This project manifests her beliefs and TEZA wants to give voice to all those who are underrepresented.

The artist behind the project is Tereza Lavickova whom you might also know from Czech indie pop band teepee. Tereza is an experienced songwriter, musician, producer and artist. With her band, she toured Europe and released two studio albums and one EP. The biggest success of teepee was a nomination of their album Where the Ocean Breaks for Czech music award Apollo 2020. Their song No Reason was featured on popular Youtube channel MrSuicideSheep and collected over 600 000 streams on Spotify. After eight years she is branching out of the band life and creating her solo project TEZA. Her debut single COLORS is released under Berlin based label Springstoff and she is planning to release a studio album “For All the Women I've Ever Loved” in 2023.
