Born in Berlin, with a Mexican soul. TEZKA is a post-stonermetal duo that fuses the power of grunge, stoner, metal, and punk with the ancestral sounds of Mesoamerican instruments in live. Formed by Paco (guitar/vocals) and Alex (drums/percussion), their music is a journey between the raw and the epiphanic, pushing rock beyond its conventional boundaries.
In 2024, they released their debut EP, "The Smoking Mirror"—a record that challenges the limits of the genre and lays the foundation for their evolving sound. With lyrics in Spanish, English, they explore Mexican perspectives that are rarely in the media spotlight, reviving their cultural identity. Their powerful sound is a surprise, proving that a duo can sound as massive as a full band.
On stage, TEZKA delivers a high-energy, visceral experience: no costumes, no masks—just raw, unfiltered music. From intense sonic waves to spiritual moments with Aztec flutes, they create a deep connection with the audience, challenging the shallowness of the mainstream.
Currently, TEZKA is working on new material for an EP and several singles set to drop in 2025 , further expanding their sonic landscape.
