Nathan Cowell a.k.a Tha Jesta was a talented hip hop artist from Huntingdon, England. Nathan was a fan of many classic rappers such as Nas, Mobb Deep, Tupac and Eminem. Over the years Nathan produced and made hip hop tracks of his own. For The Mothers, Neglect and The Infamous are some of the standout songs in his old school inspired discography, showing off not only his story telling capabilities but his lyrical prowess. His music covered many topics such as mental health, neglect, infidelity & alcoholism. Tha Jesta didn't limit himself to strictly rapping though, a talented producer in his own right he also crafted g-funk, boom bap & soulful tracks for himself and others. Producing Killah Toni's Blow You a Dub & Snakes off his debut album The Book of Nathan, Tha Jesta showed his range with quality release after quality release. Gone too soon, many have come together to keep Tha Jesta's legacy alive and active.
Recently his brother Geoff Cowell and Killah Toni have been working together to provide followup music to 2023's The Book of Nathan. Killah Toni has been working really hard executive producing each new release. Geoff Cowell has ensured every song has been handled with love and care. With at least two more albums in the works, Nathan's legacy will continue living on for years to come. #LongLiveThaJesta
