Hey! I’m Thaarmin, a 20 year-old singer-songwriter from Singapore ⭐️ 🤎
From a young age, music has always been a source of comfort and catharsis to me. The fact that a song can unite a group of strangers, inspire change and build community has always spurred me on to write songs that encapsulate the lived experience of a tamil boy in Singapore. I first fell in love with music at the age of 7, attending keyboard lessons and stealing my brother’s iPod to listen to Coldplay and Frank Ocean, amongst other artists. My sound is an amalgamation of a few genres - the candid storytelling of an alternative band, vocal layering and melismatic singing of an 80s diva and the intricate production of an alt-R&B artist.
