Thar Nge was born on June 16, 1988 in Myanmar. He pursued his passion for music by enrolling in the Gitameit Music Center in Yangon, Myanmar, where he specialized in vocal and piano studies from 2017 to 2014. He pursued a Jazz Vocal Master’s degree at Silpakorn University in Thailand from 2016 to 2019. He has gained international recognition for his music having participated in many music festivals in Japan between 2009 and 2011. . His released his first own album, “ Nya Pyar Pyar, “ in collaboration with a friend in 2011. He has also composed many of his original tunes, and his OST songs , “ Far Away So Close” and “ Motor Car,” arranged by the Italian musician Bruno Brugano, were featured in the movie” Bangkok to Mandalay,” directed by Chartchai Ketnust. He also the founder of “ The Four” cover band and further established it’s reputation in the music industry for the band’s creativity and innovation. In 2018, Thar Nge founded” Plug Music “ production, where he acted as Music Director and Producer. He worked on documentaries such as “ Acceptance,” Nandar, “ “ Arr Yone,” “ Train ,” and “Three Stranger.” He has also showcased his talent as a sound designer in films like “ Thirty Two Soul” and “ Lovely Bone,” Thar Nge has been a vocal trainer at “ The Voice Myanmar “ singing contest in 2019 . In 2023, he founded a music school called “ Sol “ in Taunggyi and is currently working as freelance music teacher and vocal coach to children and youths in his community.
