Emerging from Greece’s bass-heavy nightlife scenes, DJ and producer Thatstyle has crafted a unique sound of his own. Playing deep into the music culture of the Caribbean and the Balkans, he accents his work with the irresistible swagger and bounce of Jamaican dancehall.
In 2018 Thatstyle released his breakthrough LP “Dubyard”, a scorching 8-track showcase of dancehall, digital reggae and rub-a-dub. Teaming up with a stellar combination of international vocalists from the London’s legendary ‘walk & skank’ pioneer Jah Screechy to Bahia’s own reggae queen, Soraia Drummond, Dubyard explores the trajectory of pioneering MC styles by allowing each artist to contribute to, and define its present history.
