Released 9th November 2019 on Sour Grapes Records; EL MONSTRUO is five new monstrous tales from the surf-punk, sleaze-addled minds of THE 99 DEGREE.
Recorded over 4 days and nights while living as a love and terror cult in an Airbnb in Rotherham the mini-album was produced by Jack Howorth (Engineer on Fat White Family’s Serfs Up!) in Sheffield’s The Warren Studios (previously Fat White Family’s Champzone Studios).
The release is preceded by the single; FLATLINE. A rousing, over-reverbed and open to interpretation, tequila-drunk, gang-sang tale of celebrated male failure.
