The 9Ds

Fresh! Phat! Dope! – Are all the words used to describe the emerging DJ/Producer/Songwriting duo, “The 9Ds”! Their up tempo, Jersey Club/RnB/Pop sound is refreshing in today’s down tempo dance music scene.

This new project is the brainchild of Jersey native’s singer/songwriter Zach Matari and Z100/iHeartRadio’s Dramos! The duo have created a sound and released visuals that are nostalgic yet unique and puts the energy back into dance music. These guys are “all that and a bag of chips”.

The duo finding their own success as solo artists have joined forces to create a movement bigger than themselves. The two say,

“The 9Ds doesn’t necessarily describe the sound we’re going for but what the decade (the 90s) stood for. It connected the world with the Internet, brought us some of the greatest music we know, inspired a different way of thinking and is also considered to be the last great decade. Our goal is to connect the world with our music and our way of thinking. We hope our project and our story of two small town kids with big city dreams encourages people to chase their own passion and experience a close encounter of their own kind in a world that some may say is out of reach. We aspire to inspire.”

The 9Ds launched in July of 2017 so there is much to look forward to from this project.
