The Abstract Space is a one-man progressive metal band from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Founded by Mohammad Mushfiqur Rahman, the band creates instrumental music that blends elements of thall, djent, progressive metal and metalcore. The Abstract Space aims to push the boundaries of progressive metal and explore the themes of science, philosophy, and art. The band also has a side project called "Mephistopheles" which makes Post Rock songs.
