The Adhocs

The Adhocs is a Colombian Punk Oi! band formed in 2015. Sing-along 100% English-spoken catchy vocals, Rock and roll guitar solos, and punchy punky drums are at stake.

The Adhocs is a Colombian Oi! band formed in early 2015 in Madrid (Spain) by two Colombian skinheads, Camilo (<a href="spotify:artist:4kCvZN9d7ViD4mBW9Y2XKE" data-name="Urban Noise">Urban Noise</a> - <a href="spotify:artist:1t0GnCOuThVCdQDViYVkY0" data-name="Skandalo Oi!">Skandalo Oi!</a>), Mateo (Drunken Bräwl) who had always lived thousands of kilometers away from each other and finally met to play together within some Camilo’s Belgian holidays. Mateo hit up Diego (a death metal musician) and Alberto (Rude Pride) to gather, play some Oi! covers and write a song. Karlitos (Rude Pride) also helped them out at that very beginning.

Once in Bogotá D.C, Mortis ( <a href="spotify:artist:0uDe7obZz8VwFWeUfMgFxe" data-name="Salidos de la Cripta">Salidos de la Cripta</a>), Polloi! ( <a href="spotify:artist:4IzkIq1nDUSKHpSL3F5DCL" data-name="No One's Voice">No One's Voice</a>) joined the so far ad hoc lineup and, since the band had been meant to practice specifically to record and release an EP while the members were in the same country at the same time, the style brought together very fluidly and almost unconsciously. Its sing-along catchy vocals and the punchy stern drums will remind you of bands like <a href="spotify:artist:2fFRHacdj6NyxkPnL8W3Tp" data-name="Evil Conduct">Evil Conduct</a> or the early <a href="spotify:artist:4gVommn6B9vUqdsfSwVaiv" data-name="Booze & Glory">Booze & Glory</a>, whilst the R’n’R guitar solos give them a <a href="spotify:artist:4NPManowiyiGa72hezruf2" data-name="Cock Sparrer">Cock Sparrer</a> pub-rockish flavor. <a href="spotify:artist:68RHz1ExombwfxIEhCnSek" data-name="Komintern Sect">Komintern Sect</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7JVEe7dW62EeMOrMwmwG68" data-name="Lion's Law">Lion's Law</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0HyGMgn0mDotTpzMGxmnrK" data-name="Rude Pride">Rude Pride</a> are also big influences. In 2020 they released their first 7” EP named &quot; <a href="spotify:album:1nBTt0Q2dGcqrbOa9kopvE" data-name="Gorillas Rule Ok">Gorillas Rule Ok</a>&quot; under Contra Records (Germany), Tough Ain&#39;t Enough Records (Spain) and The Firm Records (Portugal, Brasil).
