Active band from 2000-2010
Brett (Drums), Bruce (Bass) and Mark (Vox/Guitar) - 3 guys, 3 chords and some of the truth.
"The AK Massive would like to say thanks... a MASSIVE thanks to all of our friends and our fans (who will forever be our friends); our drinking friends and our drunken friends; our politically active friends and our inspirational socially conscious friends; from the one-time gig-goers, to the fans that know more words to our lyrics than we can remember ourselves; to the event organisers who believed in our mission and to those venues who believed in our hook; to the future leaders of this beautiful continent who ‘punked out’ in their hoodies, to the ballie-rockers that brought their kids along for musical enlightenment; to all of you that bought CD’s after the shows and to those who drank our free wine; to the 300+ gigs and festivals, and all the times we packed and unpacked the car; to the bar counters that fuelled our habits and the politicians who kept us creating; to our wives and girls both past and present, and to all of you who couldn’t stand us; to those who stood by us and those who performed by us; to music, to life.
It is because of all of you that three guys could drink our full and play our message throughout this country for nearly ten years, we were mostly proud of what we created and always proud of the chaos we caused – and although for most, we were a relatively small band in your lives, we were giants in ours.
Peace and constant change."
