The Anchors are Andres Bassa (vocals, guitar), Matias Caballero (bass), Lorenzo Belledonne (guitar) and Renzo Varela (drums)
Formed in 2015, The Anchors are beginning to make their mark on their hometown of Santiago, Chile
In 2017 they won the famous Festival Alcantara with their song “Too Late”, which they released as their debut single in January 2018
Their second single "Blondie" released in June 2018. Their follow up: "Venus", explores relationships that are doomed from the start, with lyrics about parties, one night stands, and everything in between. With this song they won Festival Alcantara once again, becoming the only band to win twice in the festival's 40 year long history. In 2019 they released their newest single "Skyline", which talks about idealization and how it affects relationships, and "Moon", which provides a look into the nightlife of their hometown.
