Canadian club/dance auteurs the Angry Kids, originally comprised of Toronto-based artists Beckstein, Tom da Bomb, and ry2K, emerged in the early 2000s with their version of <a href="spotify:artist:0uAjBatvB4ubpd4kCfjmNt">A Flock of Seagulls</a>' 1982 hit, "I Ran (So Far Away)." They were signed to Dance Street Records, Water Music, and <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Magic+Records%22">Magic Records</a> in the spring of 2007 on the strength of the single and its subsequent remixes.
