Formed in late 2008, Animal Beat is the pop/rock brainchild of Travis Tucker and Jeff Linka. The Virginia natives spent the next few months developing their songwriting chops and a sound that would soon require the addition of a pianist (David Graham), a bassist (Andrew Saunders), and a drummer (Paul Howard), making Animal Beat a full-fledged band. 2009 would find the new combo releasing their debut EP, the six-track indie-prog-pop work Ambient Jungle Noise. ~ Chris True, Rovi
