The Apalachicola Sound is a rock tinged country band hailing from Tallahassee, Florida. The band name comes from the first song they recorded “water wars” which is a conservationist ballad about saving the Apalachicola Bay (A bay is often referred to as a “Sound”) as well as a nod to the great music that came out of Muscle Shoals, AL. The songs were written on a dock out on that bay with a fishing rod in hand. Avid conservationists, southern storytellers, swamp music 🤘
