The Arrows, comprised of Johnny Davis, Mary Ann Davis, Linda Brown, and Allen "Po'Boy" Stevenson were the first group to record for Arrow Brown's newly minted Bandit Label. As record owner and manager of The Arrows, Brown pushed hard for the label & groups success all while seeking advice from Chi-Lites leader Marshall Thompson. He convinced Thompson to play drums and produce the first Bandit single, the Arrows' 1969 recording of We Have Love b/w Bring Back The One I Love. Johnny Davis became the lead singer on the minimal future Arrows' releases, making him the closest thing to a "star" Bandit had. In 1972, Arrow Brown dissolved the Arrows, in order to focus on Johnny Davis as a solo act.
