The Atkins Tent Revival

This ain’t your great-grandpappy's Tent Revival!  Native Texan Ben Atkins, accompanied by a rotating cast of brilliant musicians, has spent the last eight years wowing audiences from South America to Texas to Norway with his unique sotry-telling and Americana-fusion.  After several years in Buenos Aires and a brief stint back in Waco, TX in 2021, Atkins married and moved to Trondheim, Norway (2023) where he has a new cast to help spread the Gospel of Good Times. The new Trønder lineup includes lead guitar wizard Ulf Lindgren, Trude Heggstad on keyboard, Aasmund Sivertsen funkin' things up on bass, and Eirik Fagerslett on drums.

Though relatively new to the Trondheim Americana and Rock scene, the group has already blown minds around town (Moskus, Trykkeriet, Ila Brainnstasjon, Eat The Rich '24), and will be releasing their first album - Norwegian Brown Cheese Vol. II: Sincerely Yours - later this year (2024). The album has an eclectic selection of folk, rock, gospel, and psychedelic elements that move seamlessly between themes for Atkins' new child, to existential ponderings and departed friends, to political protest and back again, lending vibrant life to these intensely personal stories-like-letters.
