The Atlas Mountains were an independent rock band based in Perth, Western Australia. Formed in 2009, the Mountains were fronted by Tennessee native Taylor Smith. The line up at the time of the bands dissolution included founding members Taylor Smith (vocals, guitar), David Tucker (bass) Scott Nash (lead guitar) as well as drummer Callum Nash (replacing Rob Jones) and keyboardist Scott Robinson (replacing Shaphan Cox). With wide ranging influences the Atlas Mountains brought their own blend of rock, gospel, country and bourbon in equal parts. The Atlas Mountains split up in 2018 after 9 years, hundreds of live shows and 3 full length albums.
