The Atomic Café was founded in 2012 by Daniel Poza Zamarrón (composition, keyboards, vocals) and Gabriela Castro Peccis (vocals) who recorded, produced and released their first EP, “Rebelión en Krypton”, in 2014, which forged the style of the band, with influences of pop rock and house music, which were mixed with rich synthesizer layers.
After a first stage with a formation that was completed by Miguel Martís (guitars), Jorge Amezcua (guitars), Pablo Suarez (bass), and Adrián Kirpal (drums), with some singles and performances in different venues and events, such as the Mutua Madrid Open (2018), in April 2019, The Atomic Café was reinforced with the support and talent of Alejandro Morell on bass (Sharon Corr, The Val), Daniel del Val on drums and Alfonso Samos on guitar (Chenoa, Sharon Corr, Fran Perea), with whom they also produced the LP “qWErTy" in March 2020.
After two years of forced stoppage due to COVID, in 2022 the band resumed the recording and production of new songs and concerts (Madrid Half Marathon, Sala Clamores).
In May 2023 they released their new album “Coffee Time”, produced by Alfonso Samos Luna, who also played the different guitars in every track in the album.
Daniel del Val and Alejandro Morell made astonishing performances in all the songs in the album, except for the cover of the Eric Prydz’s “Opus” in which Whospalo and Manuel Tena collaborated with Daniel Poza and Alfonso Samos.
