Crafting their signature sound with elements of jazz influenced by hard rock with some explorations into rap and modern pop, The Bad Thieves began as a duo in 2014 in Lugano, Switzerland with lead singer, drummer and multi-instrumentalist <a href="spotify:artist:3wtZnOAYrVNwPlpqJ2xLQW" data-name="Andy Reed">Andy Reed</a> from the USA, joining forces with multi-instrumentalist Max of Sardinia, Italy. Merging their creative expressions, The Bad Thieves enhanced and refined their sound over the years, and developed into a random ensemble of musicians from various countries.
Creating music and establishing a network with people from different walks of life, countries and cultures, propelled the band into another hemisphere of their musical journey. With band members residing all across the world, The Bad Thieves performed in numerous cities and venues, and recorded with various artists in London, Paris, Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam; Surin, Thailand; Croix de Missions, Haiti; and Marrakech, Morocco. With much more in store, The Bad Thieves aspires to create avant-garde alternative music that bridges a deep connection with a global audience, on every level.
