The Band SARAH

The Band SARAH – the pop-inspired alt rock project from Austin-based singer and multi-instrumentalist, Seth Perez, was formed in mid-2021 to prep songs for a recording trip to the famed Sonic Ranch in the West Texas desert.


Texas-made, everything this band puts on tape has a little bit of desert dust and vaquero grit mixed in with glossy guitars and pop vibes.


This music draws in Indie-pop fans of The Neighbourhood and Two Door Cinema Club but also rings the alternative rock bell for fans of bands like The War on Drugs and Kings of Leon.


This first album, Sierra Blanca, is a collection of scenes that fold – one into the other – telling the story of a simple fool who falls in love with a woman that’s got criminal tendencies and bad intentions.


The project’s releases range in vibe from American rock to sentimental singer/songwriter to country-esque; but always offer a wave of sun-drenched guitars, soaring melodies, and meaningful lyrics.


Whether these songs make you cry, make you dance, make you fight, make you smile - if you have a pulse, they should make you feel something.
