The Bee Street Band is a joyous new project from NZ jingle icons Stacey Wah and Jim Hall. The project came to bee when Stacey crafted ‘The Bee Song’, a delightful little tune which was the only song she could sing to get her daughter to sleep.
The entire album is written with love and dedicated to the animal kingdom.
Stacey and Jim have worked together in the film, TV and advertising space for over 20 years and formed a great friendship and mutual appreciation for a good jingle. Between them, they have composed, recorded and produced some of the most memorable and iconic backdrops of kiwi advertising. The creative pair worked together at Jim’s composition and audio production company Soundtrax, the “go-to” of Aotearoa’s advertising world since the late 70s, winning over 40 Axis awards, 2 Gold Clios and a few Cannes Gold Lions.
