Brothers Alan and Andrew Bell were born in Manhattan, KS, in 1991 to an American father and a Colombian mother. They were introduced to the world of music as children through their father, a lifelong saxophone player, who inspired them to explore music on their own terms. As teenagers they became heavily involved in music for the first time, spending 3 years traveling North America performing to a variety of audiences.
They moved to Bogotá, Colombia in 2013 to attend university, where they began writing and recording original songs, later used to form their debut album ‘Cold, Dark & Dirty’. The inspiration behind the album came from a culmination of life experiences, including their travels in the U.S., life in Colombia, past relationships and overcoming the frustrations of growing up, transforming all this into a documentation of their history so far.
