The Betsie Beers is a Country, Folk, Rock 'n Roll band from Cape Town,
formed and fronted by sisters, Landi Degenaar on vocals, banjo and harmonica and Zel Degenaar on vocals, acoustic guitar and stomp.
As kids they've always had a big love for music and were harmonizing together from a young age. Landi started writing songs and it easily fell into the country music genre. They have an extreme love for country music and have many amazing country women as inspiration such as Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn, Brandi Carlile and The Highwomen to name a few.
Their happy heartbreak songs, catchy tunes and full harmonies will have you foot stompin', hand clappin' and maybe even leave you weepin' with every show they play.
