The Black City: a spicy band based in Turin (Italy). They blend funk, soul, rock and jazz. They take you back to funk music’s roots, with that signature groove that drives you crazy.
Their latest EP “Sankhara” has been released on March 26, 2021 through Blue Mama Records, and it was the fourth record after “What The Funk You Want?” (2016), “Pulp Funk” (2018) and “Wake Up. The Funk” (2019).
In the past years, they shared the stage with Lola Gulley, the legendary Atlanta Queen of Blues, and Evelyn Rubio, sax player and singer from Texas.
