The Black Mammoth is simply a symbol. A metaphorical for the ancient heart that lingers and beats in all of us. A tribe of the warn and torn who still feel that beat thats deep within.

The man behind The Black Mammoth? My name is David Knuth. My first name means beloved in the Hebrew tounge and my last name means Knot in the norse language. Ive been making music with my best friends since 2007. Though over the years the toil of reality pulled us apart physically, our brotherhood always remained to this day. What originally was supposed to be a therapeutic tool to help me cope with survival of stage 4 lung and life long trauma has turned into a unified cry of a lost tribe. The tribe that sees with the minds eye and speaks with metaphorical tongue.

Using pattern impressionable memory via lyrical emotional equations paired with vibrational frequencies that correspond with the emotions of the emotional equation I believe i have found the starts of a collective consciousness resonate frequency. one I hope all artists and people will continue to expand on.

The music is still new, its only a sprout at the moment. but if this turns into a mighty oak I hope the root reach deep. enough for the tribe to meet.
