Punk, pop, pomp, and a whole lotta poise – these are the ingredients that make up the arena-threatening French electro-rock outfit Blackmordia. With a singular vision and bags of attitude, they tread that curious line between not giving a f**k and wanting to mean everything to everyone. Since their creation in 2014 by drummer & record producer Sofiane Seddiki when he was 14 years old, the band has released multiple singles and heavily toured across Europe and Asia from small clubs to arenas supporting the biggest bands in the world including KISS, Nickelback, Tokio Hotel, Five Finger Death Punch, Gojira, Nothing But Thieves. Now, the quintet has set their sights on being a band like no other, blending their heavy metal and hard rock influences to goth rock influences of The Cure, Depeche Mode with their native French Touch origins (Daft Punk , Justice, Gesaffelstein) in an amalgam of sexy rockstar moxie. That same independent spirit drives Blackmordia's engine, totally independent to prevent any outsider A&R interference. This is all being done on their terms. They’re not a band that does things by half measures. In 2023 the band released a new single with Guitar Hero Steve Stevens (Billy Idol, Michael Jackson’s Dirty Diana, Top Gun anthem) called “Hold On”, they also released a disco-rock single produced and featuring disco legend Cerrone called 54. Blackmordia is currently on tour with Marilyn Manson and their first LP “After Art Ends” is scheduled to be released in 2025
