Toronto dance-pop production team the Boomtang Boys is comprised of Tony Grace and Rob DeBoer. Originally including Tony's brother Paul, the trio first rose to success in 1995, earning a Canadian Juno Award for best dance recording for their work on Camille's "Deeper Shade of Love". Collaborations with Ashley MacIsaac, Econoline Crush, The Philosopher Kings, Corey Hart, Bif Naked and Sky followed before the Boomtang Boys scored their own smash in 1999 with "Squeeze Toy," just the third single to debut atop the Canadian pop charts. The full-length Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 followed later that same year.
After achieving memedom in 2000 with The Hampsterdance Song, Tony and Rob turned their sights to other projects; most notably their Electro-Jazz group, Four80East, with which they scored a Billboard #1 in 2019 with Cinco Cinco Seis.
