Hi, hello. I'm Kevin, and The Born Love is the world I’m building. A sonic space where melancholy meets light. I’ve always been a genuinely happy person, but for whatever reason, music is where the sadness comes out. I guess it’s how I process the aches beneath the surface and turn it into something hopeful...hopefully.
I'd like to think there's elements of iconic artists I love like: Coldplay, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley...and contemporaries like Rufus Du Sol, OneRepublic, Bob Moses, and more. I'm deeply moved by the emotional side of melodies, cinematic sounds, electronic and organic all in one. But whatever YOU hear is all that matters. If you like it, you like it.
I’m currently working on my third EP, continuing to shape that world. My music has found its way into hundreds of TV shows like Selling Sunset, Love Is Blind, Love Island (all the love shows) and more, usually in those more tender moments.
