The Boy with the Lion Head formed in the Scottish Borders in 2014, releasing their tender and grand debut album ‘The Ebb and Flow’ in 2015. This quickly earned them slots at King Tut’s and other venues around Scotland, and airplay on BBC and Amazing Radio.
Their follow up EP, 2016’s Everything is Temporary, showcased a new level of intensity and purpose from the band and earned them well deserved slots at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2017, the BBC Bandstand at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Glasgow's Celtic Connections and they were also invited to play the 'Tim Peaks Stage' at Rec Rock festival by curator Peter Salisbury, former member of The Verve.
Often building songs from quiet intricate introductions towards deliciously intertwined atmospheric guitar and keys crescendos, they create an emotive wall of sound playing live.
