„But How Apply“ as a cross section through The Boysox' band history
A mix of 80ies‘ sounding New Wave and Indierock marks the sound of The Boysox from the North West of Germany. In November 2019 the band released their first real album. „But How Apply“ contains eleven tracks out of 33 years band history.
There is that certain 80ies‘ feeling in every Boysox track – for a simple reason: The band formed back in 1982 as Frank Schiller Band, renamed as Die Täter in 1984 when they played Rock in German language and then became The Boysox in 1985. Influenced by bands like The Cure, The Chameleons UK, the Simple Minds or U2, The Boysox crystallized their sound and attitude.
Norbert Engbers - drums
Frank Leisner - bass
Heiner Köhler - keyboards, backing vocals
Olaf Schnieders - guitars, vocals
