The Breeze is the singer / songwriter, Erick van der Burgh, from the Garden Route in South Africa.
"I didn't grow up in a family where anyone was musically orientated by means of singing or playing instruments, but only pure indulgence for the golden oldies of the day, I saw that music can heal and communicate when it's hard to say what you feel.
Before I started playing and writing songs, I enjoyed listening to my favorite music and imagining I'm the person singing and playing the songs.
I still do... now I get to be behind the wheel to.
I feel most at home with folk rock.
I intend for the lyrics to be open source, in such a way that you as a listener can interpret them in your own way.
All the songs were recorded and produced by Theo Mulder, with minimal equipment in his room or at my house.
