The Canela Band all came together after friends who had played together in other bands for years got together and formed a group. Based in Ventura County most members grew up in Santa Paula, CA. The emphasis of this group was to write original compositions. The journey led the the one CD 'The Canela Band'. 2019 brings new hope as the groups member who have gone out on their own and worked on other projects are back for the next Canela Project simply entitled 'Move Mountains'. Release date of 2/14/2019
