The Caress are a London-based alternative five piece, taking the wall of sound guitars of shoegaze, 60s girl groups harmonies and the kitchen sink lyrical sensibilities of Ray Davies to create their own brand of melodrama.
Formed in 2018, and off the back of support shows with Fontaines DC and Far Caspian, The Caress’ string of self released singles to date have received airplay on Steve Lamacq & Gideon Coe’s 6 Music drivetime and recommends shows, editorial playlisting on Spotify and press coverage in the likes of Clash, culminating in a slot at All Points East Festival.
Their latest single 'The Grave' has been championed by the likes of Stamp The Wax, BBC Introducing in Kent and Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1.
