The CBB

The CBB is the new musical project of David López (Zuma Birds, Buguibún) and the singer-songwriter from Ohio, USA, Chase Tarrier. A cosmic country rock duo based in Madrid, Spain, The CBB blends their love for the American musical tradition (from Hank Williams and Little Richard to The Band, Grateful Dead, and Phish) with their unique sense of humor.

Their first album, The CBB Save the World, is a rock opera that tells the story of their adventures trying to save the world from the apocalyptic plans of their evil boss, a tech tycoon who wants to destroy humanity with his bucket full of sin (but who never counted on his two worst employees stopping him through the power of their music).

Equal parts Kurt Vonnegut, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Beavis & Butthead, The CBB is a band that embraces the values of friendship and silliness in an ever more dehumanized, cost effective and profit-seeking world, all set to an acoustic, DIY musical aesthetic that borrows from Waylon and Willie's outlaw twang, Garcia and Betts' jammy rootsiness, and Stones and Band-indebted sloppy grooves, all spiced with a hefty dose of Rocky Horror theatrical dementia.

Having already performed dozens of shows in their first two years, The CBB are known for concerts which blend an unpredictable combination of musical influences, theatricality, and absurdism. Their unorthodox and fun style has quickly created a legion of followers of their unique life philosophy, the Alright Life.
