Founded in 2021, The Citybreakers is a Brașov-based indie alternative rock band that brings original compositions to the stage, featuring a unique sound and Romanian-language lyrics.
The band emerged from the project ThElephant (The Elephant in the Room)—a musical journey that marked their early days and evolved into what they are today: The Citybreakers—a solid, distinctive band with a powerful impact on the audience.
Known for their original sound and impactful Romanian lyrics, The Citybreakers create music that deeply resonates with fans of authentic music.
With numerous live performances under their belt, the band won the Grand Prize at Battle of the Bands in December 2024, a competition organized by Radio România, along with a special promotion award offered by the same institution.
Additionally, their song "6 ani" is currently in heavy rotation on the radio.
In February, The Citybreakers released their very first music video—the official video for "6 ani".
