The band's debut EP was produced by Grammy Winner, Dave Fortman of <a href="spotify:artist:3XsgWn63EnA4wYZBjVyxjf" data-name="Ugly Kid Joe">Ugly Kid Joe</a> after he saw them perform in a dive bar. Borrowing from riff-heavy, early <a href="spotify:artist:7mnBLXK823vNxN3UWB7Gfz" data-name="The Black Keys">The Black Keys</a> and tongue-tied Kings of Leon on <a href="spotify:album:51syExDWBagenquHksTwGu" data-name="Youth And Young Manhood">Youth And Young Manhood</a>, the band's high-energy performances won them Best of New Orleans in 2017, scoring airplay on 92.3 ALT FM and major buzz in the Crescent City.
