The Colour Fool

The Colour Fool is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Singapore. Trained primarily as a jazz pianist, he self-learnt the guitar, bass and drums. He has performed for notable events such as Sofar Sounds and Beyond the Label Festival.

Fellow artists will testify that he has music flowing through his veins, with a keen eye for soulful melodies and lush harmonies. His tracks are genre-fluid and eclectic, incorporating elements from alternative rock, indie folk-pop and jazz. He is constantly working on new material, and cites Coldplay, Thom Yorke and Chick Corea as some of his major influences.

Music has become a way of life for The Colour Fool. His songs reflect but a glimpse of his creative genius and poignant introspection.

He is also a medical doctor with an interest in mental health. He believes that sometimes we need to be "foolish", vulnerable or adventurous in order to experience life in all its "colour". He hopes to save as many lives through his music as he has through his medical practice.
