The Correlation has now moved to <a href="spotify:artist:1KYrRUHb02iUKECH33k5yS" data-name="FM-JM">FM-JM</a>!
Creating music has always been Jean Marc Feghali's escape from an engineering profession. He would constantly find himself experimenting with new tracks despite his demanding schedule as a doctoral researcher at Imperial College London. His influences derive from the dreamy tones of the Shoegazing era, along with synths from today's Nu Disco anthems.
'The Correlation' was a name jokingly coined by Nuriya Shoro back in Jean Marc's schooldays. It played homage to the close relationship he had with his bandmates, who would usually play concerts at school. This later became the name of the band, which consisted of Jean Marc on vocals and guitar, Andrew Day on drums, and Ravindu Nigel on guitar. Jean Marc decided to stick with the name as he went solo with his music production, occasionally reuniting with the two to play live shows and events.
Jean Marc has been playing the piano and guitar for over fifteen years. He has had various collaborations with international artists and loves creating music with his closest friends.
