Born and mutated in Fredericksburg, Virginia, the Crypts congealed when guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:7dtz3RaCUc5hNfUPNiQVZb" data-name="Monster">Monster</a> Bonecrusher (<a href="spotify:artist:5Y9gXPHyLuhMwfrnciALL0" data-name="Trash Rocket">Trash Rocket</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6IuOTqh81MxqIbot0chNhg" data-name="Puff Yeah">Puff Yeah</a>) and drummer Mike Tschirn (Poseur Bill, The Millionaire Reverends, The Points, The Little Black Clouds) recruited Craig Graziano (<a href="spotify:artist:5Y9gXPHyLuhMwfrnciALL0" data-name="Trash Rocket">Trash Rocket</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:20Zlmf7QN5hLzUyudYqFhb" data-name="Humungo Ginormous">Humungo Ginormous</a>) on vocals. Nathaniel Miller joined in on harmonica.
