The Cuesta Man

The Cuesta Man is a nickname I got in Middle School during a Musical Performance. Performing a song called "The Candy Man" in a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory play. Classmates in a playful sense just used my last name "Cuesta". At first it felt like mockery. But as I grew up, it became true to who I am. I am "The Cuesta Man" because "The Cuesta Man" Can. This is the philosophy of my early life, "I can" do it. Later on I would realize that I can because the Lord can.

So today the words I live by are "The Cuesta Man can with willpower, not his but the LORD's will and power".
