The Daffodils is a rock / blues-rock band, founded in the fall of 2017. They play challenging music in which the individual qualities of the musicians are fully utilized to boost the level. The band members know each other for a long time, and that is how a close group of friends has developed.
In 2019 the band is ready for the next step. In the spring The Daffodils release their first EP "Living Like An Animal". This results in numerous performances at some local festivals and a live television appearance. Suddenly everything goes fast, after a performance at a local festival, the single "Living Like An Animal" is picked up by some radio stations in the Netherlands and Belgium and the EP "Living Like An Animal" is voted album of the month by radio station ‘START’ in Sittard, The Netherlands. In the summer of 2019 the band plays at the ‘Zoks festival’ (15.000 visitors) and at the ‘Zomerparkfeesten’ (90.000 visitors) in Venlo. At the end of the summer of 2019 the band played at the Rock am Kanal festival (headliner) in Berlin. The ovation after playing for over an hour is heartwarming.
After all the successes in the past, the band is confidently looking to the future. They have big plans. The Daffodils want to conquer the Netherlands by playing as much as possible at festivals and in bars. But it doesn't stop there. The Daffodils are ready to take the first steps across national borders.
