The Day Street Brothel

Formed in 2008 by Lead Vocalist, Guitarist, & Songwriter Doug Smith, The Day Street Brothel, featuring Ryan Pugh on Bass Guitar, Al Olner on Drums, & Jonathan Berry on rhythm guitars busted down the doors of the Kingston Hard Rock scene in March of 2009 with their debut album, THE DAY STREET BROTHEL, a CD full of hard rock at its finest, & an essential addition to any music lover’s library.
The disc boasts such hits as “Heaven Sent”, which received radio play on Kingston’s K-Rock 105.7 & is featured on U.S compilation CD Auditory Assault on the Bare Metal Records label. Standout songs including “Speechless”, “Untrue”, & “Tales From The Day Street Brothel” have become crowd favorites at many live DSB events.
The band’s sophomore album, THE GOOD GIRL YOU WERE BEFORE, continues in the same formula as THE DAY STREET BROTHEL album & A Greatest Hits CD was released in April of 2020! For 2022 the DSB would introduce Rise of Dissension/October Blood drummer Jevon Austin as their drummer and play successful shows in Kingston & Ottawa!
