The Death of Zenith

Last updated: 9 hours ago

The Death of Zenith is the brainchild of Caleb Straus—blending brutal intensity with sharp songwriting, and emotive melodies. Influenced by acts like NIN, Ministry, Bad Omens, Scarlxrd, and Slipknot, Zenith fuses the chaos of underground hip-hop and industrial metal with melodic hooks and cinematic atmosphere.

The project began as the musical conduit for Overnight, an independent horror film written an directed by Straus, and featuring a double soundtrack album, for which he served as executive producer, and which placed The Death of Zenith among a small plethora of notable underground artists. The Death of Zenith has sense morphed into it's own beast, mixing heavy music with a variety of styles, and often working through a conceptual narrative.

Having worked with artists like Sam Astaroth, Blood of the Beloved, Seethe, and Ritual of Ether (and scores of others) Caleb uses Zenith as a home for music that’s aggressive but thoughtful, abrasive and emotionally real. If the name’s on it, he’s in it—whether producing, screaming, riffing, or scoring from the shadows.
