The Depressants were never supposed to be a band, to be honest. The four superstars we know today were complete strangers until one September day at a local gas station. Bob/Paul was the cashier at a 7-Eleven when Chad walked in to buy a cheap charger for his phone. Bob/Paul noticed Chad was wearing an *NSYNC shirt and said “Hey that’s my favorite boy band!” and gave Chad the charger for free. Right as Chad was about to say thank you, Santiago walked in the door and told Bob/Paul that his car had run out of gas a mile down the road. Since Bob/Paul was in such a good mood, he gave Santiago a free fill up and said “You know what? The three of us could probably make an even better boy band than *NSYNC” Chad piped in saying “Yea, but we need one more.” So the three men walked out of the gas station to find Duncan on the side of the road, who had just flew in from England to start a new life. Bob/Paul yelled across the street to Duncan, saying “Hey! Wanna join our boy band?” and at that very moment The Depressants was born.
