A band formed as a release that evolved into a coping mechanism for loss, which then moved on to spreading positivity. Each song is a snapshot of deeply personal emotions and events, capturing all the emotional states from trauma and helplessness through to achievement and satisfaction.
The EP ‘This Is How It Feels’ is a non-chronological story of these events and emotions, flickering between positivity and negativity that has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response.
For the future, The Disconnect are looking to spread their warped messages of inspiration further afield, aiming to relate to others in need of help and guidance and showing them that the world isn’t always as bleak as it seems.
