The Double A’s are an Atlanta-based project and brainchild of artist/songwriters Alex Tate and Alex Bradshaw. The pair grew up on the same street and began cowriting songs after reconnecting on another project. The duo assembled at Bradshaw’s ‘Studio le Bradshaw’ in East Point and began recording a series of tracks slated for release through Spring and Summer 2024.
The Double A’s have an ecclectic range of influences and styles including Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Grateful Dead and The Rolling Stones spanning to many of the Outlaw Country and Southern Rock pioneers that are held in great regard. These influences combined with a curiosity for genre-bending sounds resulted in unique and instantly recognizable songs every person can tap their foot to. Joining the pair live are guitarist Raphael Rico Dejesus and drummer Guy Ficker for that full, Rock n Roll edge that fills any room.
Early 2024 will see the band release new material in tandem with videos that will showcase their creative concoction. Follow The Double A’s on Instagram, Spotify or Bandcamp for updates on new music and upcoming live performances.
