From its genesis, The downspiral to hell was been exclusively formed by Jose L.Miranda and Antonio Miranda; due to this fact the band never played live. Our premise is to experiment and feel free to compose anything interesting, greatly influenced both from music in general and from art in any of its variants.
In year 2004 debut album “Thorn” led us to a complex and strange mix playing black and death metal, lots of experimentation and bizarre keypads.
In year 2008 came to enlight us “the Advent of Neurosis”, released through the Scottish label Cdg Records. This time music experienced a wild approach towards grind/death clearly experimental, with so many thoughts and ideas flowing in our heads.
In 2016 and after several years recording and mixing new music, “Unusual methods to dismember the spiritual halo” was supported in Spain by Base Records and around the word via Sliptrick Records. A new graphic concept concerning the band meant the return into black metal and avantgarde.
We have spent the last few years working and shaping new songs based on and inspired by some of the strangest, most disturbing, and dark paintings ever created. It has been a major step forward in our progress that takes us into the universe of tormented minds and privileged sensitivities. We proudly introduce you our fourth album, 'The Canvas Of Consion', released July 11 (Necrotic Records).
