Their take on indie rock, portrayed through memorable riffs, catchy lyrics and energetic performances are what make The Downtons unique.
Dylan Rees-Coshan (singer), Jacob Black (guitarist), Bunnie Greenhalgh (drummer), and Rylee Wade (bassist), forming the band in March 2024, wrote their first single 'Distaste', which released in February 2025. Since the start of this project, the band have written many more original compositions, currently in the process of recording and production, which has given them opportunities to work on songwriting skills. In addition to this, The Downtons have had hit live shows across the UK South Coast, and on the Isle of Wight, where the band have been able to perform several fully original sets.
